"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

I haven't been on here in ages. I haven't been able to take any new photos due to not having my camera with me anymore. I keep forgetting to bring my camera from my dads to my new place.
A few months ago, my hard-drive with ALL my photos on it decided to die on me, and I even lost my disks with some of the photos on it. I am frustrated that I lost everything besides what has been edited and posted on here.
This gives me a chance to start over new though, and make a new portfolio with alot more and ever better photos.
I am going to invest in a mac laptop once I have enough money saved up and then I will start my collection all over again.
